Almost all owners of cottages and personal plots dream that their garden is different from others. Here are a few ornamental plants growing in the temperate latitudes that can make even the most ordinary surroundings brilliant and original.
Aquilegia Greenflowers Chocolate Soldier
This plant is famous for its ability to collect and retain rainwater. The greenery of aquilegia is carved and dark enough, the flower is located on a long stem.
The petals themselves are small and have a modest greenish tint. But the shape of the flower head is completely original thanks to the figured outgrowths with microscopic channels inside.
Mulecella irish bells
This original plant attracts more and more attention of lovers of decorative garden crops. In addition to very beautiful leaves, Irish bells have unusual cup-shaped bracts. Tightly assembled into an ear, powerful designs are able to amaze the imagination.
Tall emerald-colored candles rise above the lawn, exuding a light aroma and look very presentable. The plant loves light soils and the south side with little shading.
Nigella East Transformer
The appearance of a blooming nigella is extremely unusual: in the center of an elegant golden flower there is a core of an original form. After the flowering period ends, the bushes of the plant will be decorated with curly fruit seeds in which black seeds will ripen.
The greens of the eastern nigella remotely resemble dill leaves. It is as if she were enveloping a flower with an invisible air cloud.
Muscari
This plant is often called mouse hyacinth. Its inflorescences are dozens of tiny bells. Miniature flowers tightly fit together and form a small cylinder or cone.
Muscari exudes a rather pleasant smell, reminiscent of the smell of musk. The hue of the inflorescences is blue and purple, but there are species with lighter colors.
Calceolaria Shoes
This pretty and very peculiar plant is often planted in suburban areas. The thing is that the flower of the calceolaria consists of two halves or “lips”. The upper "lip" is barely noticeable, but the lower is inflated, like a capricious lady.
The bred varieties have several basic colors: orange, red, purple and combined striped.
Tigridia peacock
The wonderful flower of tigridia has elegant simplicity. Its three petals are open and curved, and the green has an unusual texture.
Oddly enough, the plant is a rare guest at our dachas. Indeed, besides decoration, tigridium is used in cooking: its onions are edible and very tasty.
Radius
The plant belongs to orchids and invariably surprises the viewer with the shape of a flower. The petals of the leash are curiously curved and most of all resemble a crane soaring in the sky.
Everything in this representative of the subtropical flora is elegant: the stem, leaves and original flower. Raising a streamer in the country is not particularly difficult, you just have to make a little effort.
